    What hex editors, resources hackers and other utilities of that variety do people here use. Which are the best?

    I use gamecheater to find a hex string (Its not maded for it i know )

    Take another look at this thread, the op said he was using Hex Workshop. I downloaded it and it seems to be a nice little program which does exactly what I need it to do.

    Visual Basic

    A hex editor is probably the one of the simplest things you can make.
    A resource editor is a fair bit harder. I use Resource Hacker (link in sig).

    I have Hex Workshop, its cool. The API Viewer is a handy tool for API declarations and MS Spy++ is great for findind window structures and window styles/classes.
