[RESOLVED] photoshop error

i recently got photoshop cs2 and it worked fine but now all of a sudden wen i open it it opens and then freezes and when i push ctrl alt del it says its not responding and this happens everytime ... does anyone know how i can fix this?

Is it a legal copy of CS2? Did you try a re-install? Have you installed anything else after you installed CS2?

well it didnt install anything before it stopped working

imageready (which came with my cs2) is working fine though so wat do u recommend? jsut a reinstall of photoshop? would i lost all the brushes and fonts i have?

In the CS2 version does it still have the option of moving your scratch disks? Could you have run out of diskspace? Yopu may see free space but when PS starts it creates the scratch disk like a virtual ram drive taking up space, and a large amount too.

i dun understand wat u mean if it still has it ... how can i check?

If your not sure then there is no way to check since you need to get into the program options to check, but if you cant get it to start then you cant check.

How much free disk space do you have?

Not an issue then. Try a re-install or an uninstall and then a reinstall.

i noticed some other problems with my comp but like yea i'll try that the others are just that its slowin down

You may also want to do an Windows Update to update and possible fix any issues before re-installing
