    Streaming recorder

Does anyone know of a program that can record streaming movies?

I have my house setup so I can watch the TV on my computer (over the network), but most programs only let you watch it, not record. The tv card came with some software to be able to record, but I would rather record on my computer.

I know there is such a thing, just don't where I could find it .

I was a bit vague on the setup so Ill draw a little pictogram.

Computer with TV card installed (streaming enabled) -> LAN -> My computer in the other room (using a player such as Windows Media Player).

Terminal server might be the answer. If your card lets you record, then what is the problem? W2K Advanced server lets you stream video and audio to 200+ places.

I don't feel like getting up to press the record button the application. .

<-- Is very lazy and has everything remote controled

Besides, theres not much room left on the HD its hooked up to now.
The probably isn't streaming it, its recording it. I even installed the software that comes with it on my computer (so I can change the channels) but I can't record with it. ><. Hmm, that reminds me, I think I have something....
Also, I want this for when I get high speed, there used to be a station on winamp TV that aired streaming episodes of family guy. Quailty was horable, but still.
