Supercharged wireless networking issue
im a licenced ham radio operator (if any mod or admin wants to verify this to make sure im not planning anything illigal, feel free to pm me) and im planning on attaching a high powered wireless network amplifier with a high gain antenna to my car and to the laptop inside... because the total output around 1 watt, its above commercial limitations and in order to use it, i would have to identify myself using my callsign every 10 minutes... here lies the problem, how can i transmit my callsign using a vb program through the wireless networking card in a fashon that would be acceptable to the FCC and what kind of code could i use to do such a thing?

Re: Supercharged wireless networking issue
okay... ive found out from various sources that the FCC allows you to identify your station using a normal TCP/IP Packet as long as its sent wirelessly... now all i really need is a sample of code that will send a packet with a string of text....

What about using the ID as the Wireless SSID? That way it'd be constant.
