    Resolved [RESOLVED] Trapezoid

    Does anyone know how to get the weight of the of a trapezoid? I know to get the weight of a square it is width x height x length. I am not sure of a trapezoid.

    Is the trapezoid of a constant thickness? If it is, then you can use the formula below and multiply that value by the thickness. Otherwise, it would be quite a bit more complicated.

    As a side-note, the formula makes pretty simple sense, seeing as you're in essence finding the area of a rectangle with two triangles attached to either side.
