    Slow Computer

    I have recently expierenced extreme slowness of my computer. It went from fast to extremely slow in a matter of days, what can i do to fix this, is this adware, spyware, virus,etc. What software is out there that will take care of this for me.

    how computer literate are you?

    very basic, get adaware, spybot search & destroy, and a virus scanner...run all 3. Then do a scandisk, and then a defrag on the system


    How is it running slower? bootup? process time?

    Is you PC itself slower, or are you experiencing a slowdown in internet connect time?

    Download Spybot Search & Destroy. It's free and eliminates 12000 different adware/spyware programs.
