Thought id give FireFox another try.. [RESOLVED]
and found a problem, sometimes if you close firefox the downloads are gone when you next load firefox. Is there a way to stop this happening, say if it crashes?
Also ill test this out.

Re: Thought id give FireFox another try..
In Options -> Privacy, Delete the download history MANUALLY instead of When FX Closes.

Um I don't think that's what he's referring to?
The downloads are controlled by the last remaining instance of the Firefox.exe process. Once that's gone, your downloads are gone.
Have you tried GetRight?

I did install the latest version of it, i find everytime i use the browser it gets slower and slower, for whats it worth, Opera is by far the best borwser, especially since it uses MDI tab browsing and not Static

Firefox seems to work pretty fast no matter what on my computer. Where can I get Opera at? I wanna see a difference speedwise.

Actually I have all 3 browsers (IE, FX, Opera), and Opera runs faster than the other 2. And in the installation, it gave you a choice of having the ads in text mode or graphics. I chose text, and its easy to ignor and doesnt take much space on your browser.

Well most people here say Firefox is the best, but they cant comment really until they have tried Opera out and weighed the pro's and cons.
So, until you actually try Opera and see how fast and sophisticated the browser is, dont say Firefox is better until then.

I've tried it, and Fx is better than Opera IMO. Opera is fast, but Fx is reliable and the speed difference is very small
