I tried using some Linux tools instead of Microsoft ones - e.g. OpenOffice. It's got some nice features, but it's missing soooo many of the nice and cool features of Microsoft Office that I actually found it unusable after a few days.

I just like the features of Gimp, Tux, OpenOffice.org is great BTW

I'd like to try Go Mono, but that's about all that interests me in the Linux world <shrug>

The only reason I would use it is to get services running on a linux box. I would develop the code in VS and then attempt to compile onto linux...

Yeah, that works...all ready tested.. ...But I am more or less working in Linux or Solaris at work every day...so I have no other option then monodevelop..
