[Resolved] Boot Disc On CD?
Is there any way to create a boot disk on a CD? I need a boot disk for a laptop that doesn't have a floppy drive.
I pretty much just need to go in and partition and format a Windows XP system and reload everything.
Is this possible, or is there a better way?

Can't you boot off your CD? It will allow you to format when you reinstall Windows.

The XP CD is bootable. You can also make one with Nero.

The CDs that came with the laptop are all image disks created by Norton Ghost. No actual Windows XP CD came with it.

Ah, but your suggestions reminded me that I had Windows XP CDs from other systems. So I just used one of those and stopped it when it started copying files.
Thanks for the help, guys.

You can also create a standard XP boot floppy and copy the file onto a CD to make it bootable.
