Personally I prefer simple plain styles, too many sites these days go flashy flash animations and poor contrast bg/fg color. But I do think the main body of your pages could do something extra. It could be something as simple as a gray bar down the left side that acts as a continuation of the gray accross the top.

Now for the critique, part brace yourself

The text in the logo is hard to make out, BI is fine but whats after that something designs. Eventually figured it out after seeing the trademark notice at the bottom.

I feel the menu option rollovers could be more pronounced.

Your style is inconsistantly applied. There is a news and article image but nothing for software,portfolio or about.

A few screen shots of BinaryEdit might be a good idea.

I think the about pages should be split into an about page and a contact us page, or maybe not others can comment.

Minor point in the about section the textboxes for name/email/subject don't line up correctly.

Finally please take this post in the manner in which was intended as constructive criticism. I may be right I may be wrong but if it gets you thinking and helps improve your site then thats all for the good.
