[RESOLVED] Something so simple, I've been stumped
Is it possible to lock the taskbar in Windows 2000?

Hmm I dont have a copy of windows 2k up to check right now, but I can suggest the usual places.. Either right click on the taskbar in an area where nothing is displayed. And check lock the taskbar from the menu... or go to start -> settings -> taskbar and start menu and it should be under there somewhere.

From my memory, yes it was possible in 2000 the same way it is in XP.

I've checked both 2000 Pro and Server, and I didn't see it. If you can do it, it must in some other spot than it is in XP/2003.

Yup, your right. I double checked on our 2000 Terminal Server and its not there. I think I was thinking of IE where you can lock the toolbars.
