VB6 or VB.NET for Excel?
Is either VB6 or VB.NET known to be more compatible with Excel? Any input is appreciated!

Hi and welcome..
They both have their pro's and con's.. If you are familiar with VBA for Excel, then you will find the transition to VB6 easier than vb.Net.
It really depends on what you are wanting to do with Excel, control or pull data from it.

There really is not major differences in the code or anything to do with coding. Maybe distributing but it shouldnt be difficult.
I'd also say it depends on your target. If you are wanting to write stuff for yourself then VBA or VB6 are fine and easy. If you are needing to deploy your apps to other users then a VB6 Add-In or .NET may be best.
