Re: Forum Software Update Announcement
Tonight - not exactly sure when because several forums are getting upgraded. Not very long -- that is what I was told.
I gave the sys admin the time of "after 7:00pm eastern" because that is when the traffic is slower....
Brad!

Re: [RESOLVED] Forum Software Update Announcement
The smilies have defaulted to those lame things again...
AND,
As has been mentioned, VBCode tags don't work anymore.
Other than that, I'm feeling dandy!

If it works, change it until it doesn't, and call it progress.

Re: [RESOLVED] Forum Software Update Announcement
Ok, so there are 10 smilies that are the new "frilly" style ewe
Hope the developers can replace them with our original ones soon.

Re: [RESOLVED] Forum Software Update Announcement
Would this upgrade be the cause of me getting a javascript error on every page I click on this site:
Code:
A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: 120
Error: 'google_ad_client' is not an object
or is this another problem?
Its really annoying and is only happening on vbforums

Re: [RESOLVED] Forum Software Update Announcement
I think that error is from the adjustments made for a new banner ad space at the top of the forums page. But it does give me
this error on every page too.
Code:
Line: 304
Char: 3
Error: 'google_ad_width' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.phpt=350831
I'm running IE 6.

I'm running IE 6.
I don't understand.
Why would a thread about sheep be part of the error message on every page?
[edit]
Hmmm, its specifically a post IN the sheep thread:
Jethro....before the kiwis see it, could be a spate of stickey keyboards
curiouser and curiouser.

Re: [RESOLVED] Forum Software Update Announcement
Looks like the VBCode tags are working again. Now we just need to get the smilies fixed and we are set.
Oh ya, the Resolved Thread hack is working too.
