Reps
Would it be possible to make that little window that pops up, saying you must spread more reputation, display how many more points you must distribute before giving another rep to that person?

Re: Reps
While that would be a nice feature it would mean modifying the forum software and we don't often do that.

Re: Reps
Wouldnt it just be like a line of code? I mean the code is already there..all you need to do is display it

Re: Reps
Whether it is one line or one hundred and one lines it is still a forum software modification.

Re: Reps
Maybe one line of code, but it would be one more line of code that would need to be replaced/updated whenever the forum software was updated. You also need to understand that the 2 or 3 (?) people who maintain the software are responsible for not only VB Forums but all the rest of JupiterMedia's forums and so any changes need to be kept to an absolute minimum.

Re: Reps
Smitty, what I do to determine the exact number of members I need to rep to cover the spread for any member that I have
rep'd is to use the Private Calendar. Each time I give out a Rep I add and entry to it of the member name and the link to the post.
This allows me to see everything I need to for the "spread".

Re: Reps
I have been doing this since Feb. and have given Reps to well over 100+ members for almost 1,000 points.

Re: Reps
Yes, by calculating your "Power" you have 1 as the default, but as your postcount, complete years on the forum, and rep count
go up, so will your power.
