    OS Build Number

Are OS build numbers used to identify service packs as well?

I'm using Win 2k Professional and it is giving me a a Windows version of 5.0 build 2195, unfortunately all the computers I can get my hands on right now are the same so I can't verify it.

    Re: OS Build Number

According to this website that is the release version of windows that you are using. So i think the build number would be the same for all window 2K OS's. So no i don't think that indicates the service pack.
