Thread: Find the SHARE_NAME for printers

    Question

    I need to find the shared names for the printers on my network.
    I have a ComboBox with all the printers in, and when I select one I get it like: "\\server\OKIPAGE 24DX".
    But the shared name is "\\server\OKI". Anyone know how to get the shared name??

    No, it didn't help. Thanks anyway! Is it possible to map a printer to a letter? Then it would have solved my problem.
