    Okay, I have recently switched offices, and it seems this file does not have the control added for my datetime picker, as this computer doesnt have vb6

    Now that wasnt really a problem. I simply download the file right? Wrong..It seems I don't have permissions to the C drive and cant copy over the file...nor can I register it.

    Im just wondering if anyone might know a way around it...

    Install the VB6 Runtime w/ SP5 and that should get it running if you don't intend on using the VB IDE.

    This also sounds like you are not an administrator, ask your network administrator to do it for you.
    I use Microsoft Visual Basic 2005. (Therefore, most code samples I provide will be based around the .NET Framework v2.0, unless otherwise specified)

    Cant ask the admin...theyre on vacation....Oh well...Guess I can't use my DTPickers Thanks for ur help

    You could browse to a PC with it on a share if there are any accessable.
