    Outlook Public Folders

I would like to open Outlook (or use the existing one) and set the selected folder to a Public Folder.

I'm able to do it but as soon as I exit my application, Outlook closes too because I terminated my Outlook.Application instance!

I tried to use /select FolderName in command line but it seems to be working only with the normal folder, not the public Folders

    Re: Outlook Public Folders

Yes, that is an issue that I have dealt with since 2003 came out. Seems that the Public folder are not connected during startup.
Only after the Public folder parent folder is selected via the GUI does Outlook run its connection and cache the Outlook data.
After that is done there is no errors when trying to connect to a Public forder for that session.

I had tried to make a certain Public folder as the startup folder but havent figured it out yet. Do you have any ideas to share?
