Anyone going to the British Grand Prix this weekend? [serious]
I'm going along to cheer on Kimi (and the Brits!), is anybody else from VBF gonna be there too?
Three days of camping and races should be absolutely fantastic

Wish I was going, but I'll watch and cheer on Webber and Kimi

I guess it's a bit far for you to travel!
I don't think Webber will do too well based on recent form, but hopefully all the new tweaks (which failed in France!) will work nicely over here

Yes they weren't exactly at their best in France were they But Williams, McLaren etc. usually seem to do OK at Silverstone, so hopefully it will be a good day for our guys

Where are you going to watch the race from? Any particular spots?

Based on recent tests, Kimi will easily win if he finishes the race., and Williams look like they may get in the points. Of course if the recent tweaks work they may even get to the podium.
Not sure where I'll be watching from yet, I've got a general walk-about ticket (no seat), so I'll be deciding in the next couple of days.
Most likely places: Beckets [watched Qualifying here], Stowe, Club [watched Race here], Abbey, Bridge/Luffield.

Yep, heavy security (all bags searched [even the drivers etc.], hundreds of police), plus a minutes silence, and no champage ceremony.
They said they didn't seriously consider cancelling, as that is what the terrorists would want. I agree with that - we shouldn't stop living our lives, but should show respect for those who have fallen at the hands of such an atrocity (and their families/friends).
