It happened to me somewhere around 6:30 AM -> 7:00 AM EST.

It happends every day (to me) at random time but most often during the afternoon hours while replying to some thread, so by the time I get back to the thread (after timeout or db error) to repost something - there could be few answers already posted ... Sometimes it happends while browsing forums only.
It really is very annoying.

I find this piece of information fascinating because Rhino and I are in the same time zone (EST), and I rarely have problems in the afternoon, but, as I said, almost always in the early morning.

"the afternoon hours" for today were (and sort of still are) since about 3PM till now. And for about 10 minutes (somewhat between 4PM and 4:25PM) it was completely dead.
