Tutorials..
Ive read a bunch of tutorials lately, and i cant seem to find one that is a little more indepth or a little bit more advanced.
Would i be better off getting a book?

if i were you, i would learn it by trial and error, that is how i learned VB, PERL, and all the PHP i know.
just find somthing you would like done, and just go out and all the ways to do it.
you could also go to http://www.php.net just read the documantation and function lists

yes i agree..thats exactly how i learned vb (some c++, and the php i already know) it doesnt seem to hard..
I just thought maybe i could read up some more

ur very own library application complete with downloadable stats. in excel, etc, etc.

Yer ALL is right, its best way, Ive got some PHP tutorials on my site and Im currently writing more, just follow one of the links on my sig and itll take you to the site, they could help you out

I just took a look at that link, that should teach you everything you need to know about php, if only I had that link when I was learning php
