Check if a server supports "regetting"
My line at work these days are way to unstable after they changed the server I am going through. So my crawler hurls out meters of error codes when trying to download files. So I am thinking about trying to use the wget function in stead. At least where I can. But can I from command line, or code querry a server to check if it supports regetting? So I can test it on the fly.
Thanks

Re: Check if a server supports "regetting"
OK, I just found out this:
Note that regetting only works with FTP servers and with HTTP servers that support the "Range" header.
Does that mean that the MIME type or something can give me the answer? The same way as I can querry the server if it supports "length" and "file fype"?
