Angry Weird problem with icon in systray

    Hey Guys,
I created a program that runs in the system tray. The icon is a little book with a magnifying glass on it. The icon from Active Directory.

I recently have to reload Windows XP on my machine. When I run my program now the icon has black around it. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening on my machine now?

Here is a picture of the problem

Don't know why, but I had the same problem once. I then replaced my 24bits color icon with a 16-color icon and voilla it worked. Don't know if it helps.

btw: dude you have a lot of sh## it your systray.

Not really 7 icons isn't a lot compared to the other users here. I only have two things in the systray VirusScan which is controlled by GP, which I can't get rid of and a communications network which I can't get rid of thats contlled by GP. The winzip icon was there because winzip was open and outlook and trillian are always running on my box. I've seen users here with 15 icons in the systray now thats a lot
