    Linux Server

    Ok i'm setting up a small sever, for the heck of it really.

    I've built the machine, installed Debian, apache and Php work brilliant, i've intsalled mySql but for some reason apache and php wont recognise its there, I can get a mysql prompt do table stuff etc.

    Does anyone know how to configure (php i'm gussing?) to ineract with mysql? in linux

    Are you using PHP 4 or PHP5. You need to compile MySql support into PHP 5.
