Resolved What does the colour of rep mean? [RESOLUTIONISED]

    Hi all.

I've been receiving rep but I haven't been giving it because I haven't been asking questions. I've decided that it's about time I started giving rep for any post from which I learn something significant.

When I look at my own received rep, I see green squares and grey squares. Do the grey squares come from someone with a rep POWER of zero and the green from others or do the colours mean something else?

    The FAQ: http://vbforums.com/faq.php?s=&do=se...l&titlesonly=0

The grey means that the person who gave the rep points have an effective power of 0... It's the last section.... although it never mentions anything about the color (I had to find this all out the hard way.)

Thanks. Had read the FAQ but, as you say, it doesn't mention the colour.

Green is a positive rep number determined by the power level of the member that gave you the rep.

Grey is indeed a zero value rep.

Red is a negative rep point value determined by the giving members rep power divided by 2 rounded down to the nearest integer value.
