    Is my system healthy?

I just checked my Process list as the system wasnt loading my applications, it contained a process called BMP.exe which was listed 3x times

That aside, looking at the screenshot below, does my performance look healthy?

    do this:
    ctrl+alt+del>file>New Task(Run)...>(type)msconfig>(tab)Startup:

check if the file bmp.exe is trying to run there, if it is, tell us the file location.

(if it is running 3 times you might want to check the "services" tab as well)

Go to trendmicro.com's site and run their online virus checker from IE. It's pretty good at deleting malware.

the only one that i would be worried about woudl be "cleaner.exe"

symantech (an evil company ) sayes it is a trojan:

But it could also just remove ">>>>" from forwarded emails.
Run the online test before you think about killing processes.

Use ethereal, nmap, router logs. This way you can know exactly what its doing where its connecting. Also remove the virus from startup registry keys and find the executable and use ollydbg to see whats inside =D

Well, that was dreadful, the trojan scanner took 1hr 40mins to scan, but nothing.

Also, could this be a problem related to my pc hanging on startup/shutdown?

I have just been reading some sites i found off google, and i deleted the prefetch folder, so i will see what happens when i restart next

yes, but the scan would not start because it failed to load a active-X component
