Clicking Links, Directories, Back Button eventually restarts my PC.
I've lived with this for years, but I'm getting tired waiting for a new PC.
My PC restarts itself.
Unpredictably, in Windows Explorer, if I'm doing alot of file manipulations, going into directories, coming out, expanding directories in tree view, moving directories with drag & drop into other directories, if I do this often enough, "BAMF!", My PC restarts.
In Internet explorer, Clicking threads in Forums, reading, back buttoning out, click the next link, read, Backing out, etc... etc..., "BAMF!", My PC Restarts.
It might not happen for weeks at a time...
It Might happen 5 or more times in a day {Especially if I'm at the USA Message board for "The Dead Zone" }...
Needless to say, I'm now pretty good at saving code after writing 10 or more new lines...
Any Speculation as to how to fix this irritant?
Outside of a New PC, anyways.

I was going to suggest a defrag, but that seems as though it wouldn't be enough. (Still try it if you ant, but i assume you've probably done it a zillion times already)
It looks like an error with your explorer.exe file, somehow managing to shutdown your PC. Maybe a 'helper' of some sort ?

I haven't done a defrag in a while, although the problem existed before the last defrag.
I'll try that.
Just in case, How would I go about and replacing my explorer?
Well, i could upload you mine, well a copy of mine obviously, from a clean system.
Other than that i have no clue, other than if you do opt for a replacement back up your other one first. Just in case
I have attached my explorer.exe, not very big at all
