GeForce, Help!

I have a NVidia Geforce FX 5200. Before i bought windows xp pro and installed service pack 2, whenever i played counter strike (not source) the game was fine and the graphics were smooth (well as smooth as they could be) but now...i can run around fine and the graphics are still just as smooth....BUT whenever i get flashed and the screen goes white....when the game starts to come back it is really really pixely, like sqaure heads, and just really really bad, its like im on an old bbc computer.....has anyone else had this problem? and does anybody have a solution or possible cure?

look for a driver update, or even a firmware update

firm ware is like the internal program, much like ROM...
