    Thumbs up How can I open a Word Document in Word Pad using VB/VBA?

    Hi all,

    I need to open my Word document in Wordpad (which comes with Windows operating system for some specific purposes) and save it as Word 6.0 document / Rtf format. So, How can i do that?

    Pls help me.

    shellexecute can open your document in wordpad, but if you want to control wordpad by progam i can't help you with that

    wordpad has no provision to save in word6 fromat, but RTF format would work
    Word also is able to saveAs RTF
