    You have HERD of cows, a GAGGLE of geese, a MURDER of
    crows, a POD of whales.....

    What is the collective noun for Mathematicians?

    Aren't humans referred to as a mob or a mass (i.e. a mass of humanity or a mob scene)? Assuming you meant human mathematicians...I would guess that either mass of mathematicians or mob would be appropriate.
