Try installing all browsers available. That way, you can test pages from a browser to another. Though I belive there's not much change in terms of output when it comes to Gecko-based browsers.
Does IE renders XHTML now?

Hasn't it done that for a long time? My page is XHTML (www.noteme.com) and that page renders, at least with some tweakes to make it work the same way in Fx and IE...
