Got a DSL line beginning of Dec.
Company is going out of business
Found another company to provide DSL service
There's a 2 week overlap where there will be no service
Cable company putting in cable modem, 1st month and install free
Cable modem costs 0$ for the time needed, New DSL $300 a month

The current DSL service is shutting down at 5pm EST today, they just got the cable modem working 5 min. ago, I'm tired, think i'll take a nap...

Ordered my cable 3 months ago free install.
Didnt realize that @home doesnt care about its customers
Called and complained daily to @home and finally got my modem speed back again. (Day after day after day of calling them they finally did something and it magically went up a whole 300-350k, seems odd eh)
Every week or so they have e-mail problems and slow connectivity.
Found out AT&T is taking over @home and will produce better service
AT&T said they wont take over though, until @home fixes all of it's problems. ( this will take forever )

I guess its still better than a dial up though
