Ping www.vbforums.com
Hello all, can somebody please post me the IP address of www.vbforums.com, i am sorry to say that my DNS servers are messing up so it is taking me ages to get anywhere unless i use an IP address..
My ping retunred the following :

Try SandPaperTM. Helped me ping VBF no problem.

hehe, it doesn't matter now, i contacted my ISP and got a idfferent set of DNS servers setup so i am cruising now 
I'll even post my Ping log now ---

I just lost 100%, so they must be having a problem.

Not really.
if the server has a good firewall like ZoneAlarm it will stop the computer responding to Pings so, that maybe the reason

Do you have some device that's flooding your network?
You said you are having speed issues all over the place - not just VB forum - right?

I've checked everything out now, power-cycled my router, reset my wireless connections, shutdown spare PC's, restarted this PC, contacted my ISP for aternative DNS Servers... and finally Its all working smoothly 
MY speedtest (bearing in mind this is ADSL @ 2Mbit/ps)

It let in a packet for theGreatOne, so I assume that it'd reply to me.

That's why I assumed that it would be working.

Most servers block ICMP packets from outside destinations because of problems with DoS attacks, that makes ping impossible.
