Why can't we see all of our reps received? [Resolved]

... instead of only the last 25 (which, I read in another thread, was an increase anyway)?

Mine are dropping off the bottom and it would be nice to still have the links to some of those threads. I know I can look in the Subscriptions folder, but a lot of them are useless to me, whereas the ones I received reps for are generally ones I might want to be able to link back to in the future (e.g. if someone else has the same problem).

Any reason why not?

There's no way to do anything else except to show more than 25 and we aren't going to do that.

Can I ask why? Is it a limitation in the forum software?

No but we have to set some limit and 25 is what we decided on. If we made it 50 (or 100), someone would want 100 (or 200).

Not arguing but rather wondering why is it limited to any number at all?
We may browse ALL threads ever created, ALL users and their posts and so on ... Show first 25 on the page but give us an option to see next 25 or so untll the last one - do it the same way everything else is done here.

I agree. Have multiple pages you can cycle through in order to see the older reps received.

That's what I was wondering. I took Martin's response to mean that there had to be some limit imposed (for some reason) and therefore it was decided to be 25. Maybe its the way vB is designed, after all it does say "Latest reputation received".

I'm curious as to why you would want this? You touched on it earlier, but perhaps you could expand.

By the time one drops off the list, I have forgotten what the whole thread was about anyways. The rep was for a different person, not the person who is currently reading it. So of what value are the reps by the time they drop out?
