I have no idea what the Days of Aquarius are/were, or who (whom?) Clara Bow might be, but Dennis, I think what you're looking for is "Information Technology", is that reasonable? Some people call it ICT nowadays, for "Informations & Communications Technology". Basically, it's the field of Computing.

Well...unless it's an A-Level, in which case it's about as far removed from Computing as it gets.

Trust me...I'm doing it...and haven't seen a SINGLE LINE of code taught to us

Sounds like some marketing department somewhere has invented it for the sake of stirring up hype. I'd ignore it until you hear something substantial about it if I were you.

Parksie, I did A-Level Computing and we did quite a lot of coding. Nothing complicated, but we spent quite a lot of time sitting at computers with VB on-screen (VB3 this is) on the premise that we were programming Most of the time though we just hung around talking. Maybe your school/college/whatever (I went to college, not sixth form) just teaches a crappy course.

I can't find where he got it, but my world history teacher had several articles on "IT" which is nicknamed "Ginger"

the parts fit in 2 duffle bags and a box, and it can be assembled in 10 minutes with only a screw driver and a set of hex wrenches.

only a few peopole know what it is.... the inventer, of course, Bill gates, the owner of Apple, and a few other people....

I think it's all a hoax, but they say it will revolutionize how people travel... the inventors name is kamen(I am not sure of the first name)...

I did a quick search on IT +Ginger and landed in the middle
of a flame war on something called Riven.

    What the Hell is Riven?

Sounds like a load of bollocks to me. Excuse my frankness. Or not, doesn't really matter to me either way.

I thought the same thing. Who the hell would want to go 60 miles an hour on that? What if you had a blow out? I'd rather be in a Pontiac Fiero with an drunk/drug addict!

It would seem to me to be unlikely that the result will be
some form of single wheeled motivation device. Among other
things, I believe a jet-propelled unicycle has already been
patented. The descriptions I've read would tend to show
that this thing the papers are talking about is a re-
statement of that with a different power source ....
    shouldn't be patentable.

But then, I've been wrong before.

Riven is the sequel to Myst.

"IT" is the short name of a not terrible SciFi movie from the fifties or sixties, and remade a few years ago (perhaps under a different name). "IT" took place at an Arctic Research station. I think the old version was better than the newer one.
