This thing stole my desktop{Resolved}
I somehow go this virus on my computer that stole my desktop, and wont let me chang it. I think it's called "Trojan-Spy.HTML.Snitfraud.c"....I've tried everything to remove it. I've ran avg, adaware, and spyware doctor, and neither one could remove it. What else should I do?

Have a look at these links. They appear to detail the virus and how to remove it. It must be quite new because I can't find it on Mcafee or Symantec:

Thank you SOOO much! I didn't think any of those links would work because I'd been through so many, but the top link worked.

Yeah I got hit with a similiar one, maybe the same one. I laughed at it, it's a very amusing little virus. The funniest part is the one I got installed a security center program, then the program comes up detects the virus that my AVG dosn't detect, and says if I pay them 50 dollars for a subscription they can remove it for me.
I think thats probably against some laws, but the company can also easily claim they had nothing to do with the person who wrote the virus and have no clue why the person installed their software as part of the virust lol.
But anyway, I needed to reformat that computer anyway, it was getting kind of cluttered and slow
