    Dispute Reputation Given

Is there a way of disputing a reputation given by another user?

Someone has given me a negative reputation point for a reason I don't agree with.

    Cheers

In general, you can PM a moderator; however, it is very rare that anything will be changed. As in the real world, sometimes we disagree with what people think of us. Overall, however, a few bad opinions should not have any significant impact in our overall reputations.

In general, the only time we remove a bad reputation is if the person that posted it says it was an error. If there was a comment left and it obviously contradicts reality, then a mod may also agree to see about chagning it.

    I see what you mean.

The only reason I was annoyed was because I answered the question but I was given a negative feeback as I didn't provide code - if they had just asked I would have.

    Ah well
