Re: The Owner Of VB Forums
If you have any comments or questions, post them in the Forum Feedback section. The admins frequently frequent that forum.

Re: The Owner Of VB Forums
The day to day running of this community is handled by the members. The moderators over see this and the admins oversee the moderators as well as everything else, generally making the decisions
Brad Jones is probably the most regular admin who has the most input where the running of the site is concerned. Of course there are other Jupiter Media people who are above him and not forgetting the sysadmins that look after the web servers and databases.
Everyone here has one thing in common, admin, member or moderator, we're all here to help each other. If you have a question about the forums then the best place to post this is in the Forum Feedback Forum. If you would prefer to contact someone in private you can send a private message to any of the moderators of admins If you want to make direct contact with Brad you should send an e-mail to [email protected]. Brad is very busy so it is always best to go through the forum moderators first, that is what we're here for.

Re: The Owner Of VB Forums [RESOLVED]
I am the person ultimately responsible for this site.
I work for Jupitermedia, the company that owns this site and my responsibities to this forum reflect the directives of that company (tempered with my responsibilities to you guys- the site's community).
JPnyc also works for Jupitermedia. He is the Forum Manager for all of Jupitermedia's discussion forums (approx 29 of them). While I am ultimately responsible for this forum, he is also responsible for the underlying operations of the actual forum software.
JPnyc (Joe) and I are the Jupitermedia guys.
As already indicated, it is the moderators that really do the hands-on work with the site. The mods are a part of the community and a part of the site, so their interest is in keeping the site the best it can be. They are volunteers, that do a fantastic job overall of making this a great site.
We also have MartinLiss who is the 'hands-on' person for daily operations. MartinLiss is not an employee of Jupitermedia, but rather a moderator that has been given admin priviledges. You can call him the "head mod". While I may miss a day getting here due to my responsibilities with other forums and sites, he is the person that helps to make sure that I am aware of anything that needs a higher-level of attention.
So... If you need something, talk to your moderators! They can be very helpful. If you have trouble with a mod or an issue, talk to MartinLiss or me. Either one of us can help you. If you have a serious issue, then you may want to come directly to me. If you have trouble with MartinLiss, come to me. If you have trouble with me, go to JPnyc or MartinLiss -- they both can contact my boss. If you think the site is fantastic or want to compliment someone, do it here in feedback or let me know.
Hopefully this answers your question. If there is really something else you wanted to know, then feel free to PM or email me - webmaster (AT) vbforums.com goes to me.
Brad!
