    Resolved VB.NET to VC .NET

I have just started learning VB .NET (i was semi-fluent in VB6) and i am wondering how easy would it be a competant VB.NET programmer to switch to VC.NET?

I want to be able to switch to VC.NET (for university) by September

    thanks

How fluent are you in C or C++?

The transition from VB6 to VB.NET can be pretty intense as it is almost like learning a new language.

However, the transition from C++ to C# really wasn't that bad (at least not for me.)

I've never typed 1 bit of C code in my whole life, so i'm 0% fluent. Yeh i am having a hard time changing from VB6 to VB.NET, i cant get my head around the new way that ADO works, it seems like you have to be fluent in SQL just to use it

Then, if you are going from VB6/VB.NET to C# you are in for a real "treat".

Knowing SQL is good for any programming language that you use.
