Can anyone give me some pointers on registering my program as an NT service. I would like it to start automatically without placing it in the startup folder.

ssrp, try to use the Microsoft NT Service Coontrol (ntsvc.ocx)

Theere are also programs out there that just turn normal .exe into services, you could try one of them if it would be easier...
