Workgroup information file missing?

Hi,
Currently I'm converting my VB 3 program to VB 6. Due to the fact that my database is protected by user ID and password, I need to create workspace in VB 6 in order to access the security-enabled database.
However when I tried to run my program it says "Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user."
Can anyone help me with this?

When connecting to the database, are you specifying the security .MDW fiel to be used in the extended characteristics of the connect string? If not you won't get through.
