    VB6 With Irc Bot

    Ok I googled and realize dcc is a client thing and doesnt have much to do with the IRC server . On a longshot would anyone have code that would be able to send files through IRC? Is there anyway to send files with Vb6 without Winsock?

    Have a look here for free downloadable codes fro IRC stuff.

    And how do you mean send files? You can upload them and things using API but I do not think that is what you mean...

    Yes I do mean send files. I want a command to be typed on the channel and then the bot sends a file from there...

    I would like it to send it to send it to a predetermined name for now. When its done I want it to send it to whoever issued the command.
