[Serious] Help me with simple graphics request :)

I need you do draw the digits 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 each in its own image file.

The images should be 50 * 50 pixels in size, greyscale and saved as GIF files. Please draw the numbers freehand, in the centre of the image. Here are some examples...

This is for a Neural Network I am designing. hopefully it will be able to identify handwritten numerical digits written by anyone

You'll all get a mention in the credits. The source will be posted inthe Codebank Section when its finished.

Make boxes on a sheet, and I'll get a few people to do it and then fax it back to the computer. Even my sister's kids (who prolly write better than us)

You don't have to use a scanner to create the images. Just use MSPaint and your mouse

Wow, thanks guys these are great. Nice set of styles so far. Bodwad does indeed go to the top of the class. but i'll still use his messy scrawl as the final proof of this NN's power!!! muahahhaaaaa

I could do with a few unusual styles too, maybe with a narrow pen and make it scribbly or just plain ugly would be cool

If you really want a lot if images to test it with, make a program that iterates through all fonts on your system and produces images from those. You could batch convert them to gif if you can't save them in that format in the program.

They won't like normal, and would be harder to read if done in paint, as I've done, using a touchpad. You should print the boxes and have people fill in the blanks using a pencil.

For what it's worth, though, Here is the zip of my numbers.

Cool. Got about 80 images so far. This is ace, thanks all. It would be cool to have some with thicker pens though, like in the examples i attached in the first posting. (Use the brush tool in MSPaint. Get creative!

WOW. And I thought that mine were bad!

I made them all as bmp before I remembered that paint does gif, so I changed them. I was going to post the empty box, but it didn't show up when clicked.
Maybe the bmp would.
