Username Change?

Howdy all,

I posted this over a year ago, and noone in the original thread answered this specific question.

The thread can be found here, in case anyone wondered

Can I change my username without re-registering? Or could a moderator or perhaps a high-ranking JupiterMedia employee do it? Reason being, I'm not 12 years old or however old I was when I registered (02?) anymore (obviously?), and my "l33t" name just doesn't do it for me anymore. I wish to appear less child-like and have either "Phreak" or "chemicalNova".

Meh, anyone able to let me know?

No you can't...well someone high ranked COULD do it...but won't, and you will probably loose your post count too...

You can PM one of the admins and ask, stating your reasons. If the reason's good enough, they'll do it. Else, we'll make fun of you for being a kid. Forever. And evermore.

The admins only change usernames in exceptional circumstnces. The reason being, if they do it for one member then everyone will be requesting it. Being as the admins don't often visit Chit Chat they probably didn't see your original thread.

Usually Forum Feedback is the best place for a question like this, as Brad and Marty check that forum regularly.
