    Internal Power Y Splitter Cable

I have 2 Internal Power Y Spliters, 4-pin male socket the type that connects to the PC power supply; Used to supply power to internal, hard disk drives, CD-ROMS etc, IS IT SAFE to plug a Y Spliter into another Y Spliter? thanks!!

As long as you have enough power to spare. I have used that setup in one machine that had a lot of devices, but didn't draw that much power.

What are the symptoms of "not enough power" in a system? will it crash?...blue screen? or error messages?

    I have:

    500w PSU
    CD/RW
    DVD/RW
    80GB HD
    Floppy
    GForce 6800gt V9999
    Case Fan

    Thanks....

I don't know what processor you have, but you could plug your specs into this site (among others), but everything looks good to me.

Of course it's safe. It would be like plugging a 4-point power-board into another. It will work, but if you plug too much in the fuse will blow.
