    Aerodynamic Fruit & Veg

In freefall (unsupported, unstabilised) which fruit or veg do you think would have the highest terminal veloity within the Earth's atmosphere?

The one with the highest mass/volume ratio.

    The starfruit.

Never heard of a couple of those, but I know what a turnip is. So I chose it.
While they don't bounce back to my window (failing the bounce test) they do not flatten out. I know this for a fact. Doesn't matter if I'm on the second or third floor, either.

    Round is aerodynamic, also.

I think turnip - you can get some very aerodynamiclly (and amusingly) shaped turnips.
    Either that or a carrot.

Yah, in a vacuum. Try dropping a feather along with a bowling ball. I would be willing to bet that in the atmosphere, the bowling ball will hit first.

What would be your bet between a bowling ball and a tennis ball though?
