Help - need to get cheap but good system

Does anyone know how to build a really good, but still really cheap system?? If so, let me know th sites i can check out. Or, are there any desktop pc's that i can buy for cheap??

There are numerous sites that offer barebone systems and parts. You can also go to stores like CompUSA and buy the components to build a system. In general, however, you can usually find a constructed system at or near the same cost. This is especially true when you factor in the cost of an operating system.

I just changed the case and power supply on the system I built. I now have lots of flashing lights and a window in the side (so you can see flashing lights inside. Pretty cool or pretty annoying -- I've not figured out which yet....
