[VB]Are there any automated or VB-accessible video editing programs?
Specifically, I am looking to have an automated way to turn a long video clip into 3-minute segments.
One way would be to ingest a long video clip into my VB program and have my program spit it back out as 3-minute segments. I know there are plenty of programs out there that can do this via their own GUI, but I am looking for something that can do it automatically and/or by my VB program calling it. I don’t want the user to have to do anything manually.
I’ve found that Canopus ProCoder has an automatic video conversion tool that “watches” a directory for new video files and automatically converts them to a new video format without intercession of other software, but it doesn’t have anything that will automatically slice and dice.

For whatever it's worth, there does not seem to be anything out there to do this out of the box. However, there does seem to be a company, Rhozet, that specializes in producing just such applications (http://www.rhozet.com/).
Suffice to say, getting something custom developed isn't going to be as inexpensize as buying some $30 software shrinkwrapped in a box, but I thought I'd pass along the info just the same.
