DirectX run-times
I just wondered if P&D or Inno automatically check to see if DirectX files need to be installed, and install them?
Randem, are DirectX included with the Auto OS Updater?
I think that would be cool if it was. I understand you have to do it yourself from the SDK.

Re: DirectX run-times
dglienna,
If you have declared Directx dlls in your code then ********** will pick them up. P&D Wizard will not. Those dll's are not included in the AutoOSUpdater. I will look into this and see if there is any reason that they should be installed without causing trouble.

Re: DirectX run-times
It was brought to my attention that they are installed with games, so I wondered if they were with any installers. I then found out that the SDK has a method to include them using the P&D wizard, but I expect that it is a mod to the actual program. XP includes DX7, but they have release DX8, and a special version of DX9, but I forget who it is aimed at. I would like to utilize video clips, so I'd like to have something like this.
Thanks.
