    Resolved Pentium 4 (RESOLVED)

    anyone know where i can get a cheap Pentium 4 processor 1.7 to 2.8 must be 400/533 Mhz FSB

    my old one keeps rebooting automatically, must be over heating, got a new fan ( like a jet engine, still doesnt help?)

    You've gotta remember that the 1.7 and the 2.8 have two different sockets, I think it was around the 2.0 that they changed sockets, so you'll have to determine which one you need and then slter your search to be more exact w/o a mobo upgrade.

    Also, try eBay.

    have resolved this now got a 2.2 celeron and it works great no crashing and temp is down too, yippy
